Where are Peg Perego products made?

All Peg Perego products are made in Italy and offer the highest quality and design. Carina Baby specializes in Italian made products with our CAM bath, playpen and co-sleeper range also exclusively made in Italy.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, we do have a showroom and our open to the public. Our one on one shopping experience allows you to test our products out for yourself and ask our experts any questions that you might have.

How long is your warranty?

We offer a 2 year warranty on our Peg Perego Travel Systems and 1 year warranty on our High Chairs, Car seats, and Ride-On toys; with a 6 month warranty on our other ranges as well as batteries and chargers. However for all our travel system and stroller ranges, our 2 year warranty only begins from your expected due date. No point in your warranty going to waste before baby can even start using it. We are in touch with all our customers that order our strollers and travel systems to register your expected due date so that you get the most out of your product. 

At Carina Baby and Peg Perego we pride ourselves in the quality of our products however, if for some reason our product shows a defect in materials or workmanship during your warranty period, please email us at info@carinababy.com. If a defect is discovered during your warranty period we will, at our own discretion, REPAIR or REPLACE your product. We will send our courier company to collect the defected product and deliver the replacement part/product at NO COST TO YOU. 
Our warranty DOES NOT cover:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse of the product
  • Failure to follow instructions
  • Improper installation and maintenance 
  • Worn wheels
  • Alteration
  • Personal opinion dissatisfaction pertaining to functionality, features or aesthetics.

Please be prepared to provide the product model, a description of the warranty issue, photographs and the date of purchase. 

What happens if I need a spare part or repair after my warranty ends?

Our workshop and service department are always on hand to assist with spare parts no matter how old your Peg Perego product is. Spare parts are usually available from Peg Perego Italy for a period of 8 years after a product is discontinued. If we do not have the specific spare part that you require in stock then we will be able to order it for you. 

We offer a full Clean&Wash as well as repair service for all our Peg Perego products as well as maintenance for our ride-on toys.

Where does Carina Baby ship to?

Carina Baby ships anywhere within South Africa.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently are only able to organize delivery within South Africa however if you are able to organize your own courier collection for international delivery then you are welcome to do so. Please contact us on info@carinababy.com for more information on ordering internationally. 

Can I send my order to a postal address?

No, we currently do not ship to PO box addresses.

How much will the courier charge be?

We offer free shipping for all orders over R. 4 000.00 nationwide. For orders under R 4 000.00 a flat shipping rate will be applied depending on where you are located. Flat rates are as follows: 

- Johannesburg & Pretoria: R 120.00
- Durban and surrounding areas: R 150.00
- Cape Town and surrounding areas: R 180.00
- Outlying areas: R195.00  

 

How do I pay for my order?

Payment can be done via our secure payment gateway Payfast. Payfast is South Africa’s  leading payment gateway offering fast and secure payments. EFT payment is also available. Please email us at info@carinababy.com with your order details and we will send you an invoice with our banking details. Credit Card facilities are also available at our Showroom. 

Do you allow for collections?

Yes, orders can be collected at our Showroom located at:

Can I return my item if I want to?

Yes. If you would like to return or exchange your order, you are welcome to do so within 14 days of the date of delivery as long as the item is unassembled, unused and in saleable condition. You will be responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item to us and the original shipping charges. You will then be able to choose something else from the shop or we will offer you a refund once we have received the item and assessed its condition.

How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

Most orders are shipped within 2-5 working days (if not sooner!) once the order has been processed. Order is processed once we have received confirmation of payment and payment has reflected in our account. Process of orders usually takes between 2-3 working days. Delivery times are an estimate and Carina Baby will not be held responsible for any delays caused by Courier Companies.

How will I know when my order has been shipped?

We will notify you via email that your order has been dispatched. You can track your order online at https://www.thecourierguy.co.za/tracking_home.php using the waybill number on your delivery notification email.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Please allow 2-5 working days for your order to arrive once it has been dispatched. Outlying areas usually take 5-7 working days.

My product is damaged, what can I do?

If your order is damaged in anyway on delivery, please notify us immediately on info@carinababy.com so to enable us to return and replace it for you.
